We invite you to submit a proposal for a specific project you wish to pursue during the retreat. The serene grounds of our property, adjacent to the Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge, offer countless picturesque spots for immersing yourself in nature. Our program has been privileged to host esteemed artists and writers renowned in their respective fields, and we are equally committed to nurturing emerging creatives with their long-held project aspirations.Each application undergoes a thorough review by the Portland Arts Retreat board of directors to identify the candidates best suited for inclusion in our retreat. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange transportation. Our staff will greet you at the airport and provide a tour of the house upon your arrival. Our local chef will prepare a welcome meal and stock the kitchen with groceries for breakfast and lunch.
